the great search for Kosei K1s

I'm looking to purchase Kosei K1s for autox/ track use. I understand that they have been discontinued, but also know there should be many sets out there floating around.

Could anyone recommend how to go about finding a set? Where's a good place to look? Any sites that have good Classafieds?

Thanks in advance...these things seem to behard to find for me as i'm not sure where to look help

There is a thread on Bimmerforums about a replacement for the K1. Check that out!

What size K1? I'm asking because there is a final shipment of 17X8.5 E36/E46 wheels that may be coming to us mid summer-ish.

yea, i sent an email over to Jim on Bimmerforums as he spoke of the shipment.

what are the specs of the wheel? will the 8.5 width be okay for the saloon front wells?...what is the pricing? per/ pkg? all issues since these are scarce and replacements may be needed.

Not sure on pricing yet..should be around $200 per wheel. They're 17x8.5" ET 40 so by the time you get some race rubber up front on a sedan you may need some fender lip rolling.

Are the Kosei's still scheduled to be discontinued? Someone told me they are bringing them back for e36/46 and e30 fitments.

The 17X8.5" track E36/E46 setup will come back around June. I see no E30 applications returning.

Negative, it is unclear how long we can continue to get them.
