my doors broken!!!

I was driving on the freeway and rolled the passenger side window down, and while it was going down i heard a clunking noise, then i rolled it back up and made the noise again. I tried it several more times and the noise went away. I got home and tried to open the passenger side door it and wont open!!! only from the inside. When I pull the door lever, it doesnt do anything, like the door is locked. Anyone know what might be the problem?
