What would you say about a 2001 300ci that has 45,000 miles on it?

How could that many miles be put on a car in only one year. My friend just bought a one used, tiptronic, for about 30k. Just wondering how so many miles could be put on.

Its very easy to rack up that many miles. I got my 2001 330Ci in Nov of 2000, I got 31000 already. Its a fun car to drive. My first BMW was a e30 convert, I did 35000 the first yr. What was the original date on your friends car?

I wouldnt say its easy...

thats 120 miles day. So if you communte 60 miles to work and 60 miles back, yes.

I use my Ci as a daily driver and I have 5,100 miles and I've had it for 5 going on 6 monthes...

Its very possible to rack up that many miles. Your commute miles, then driving around after work to whereever. Then out cruising on the weekends. When I got my first bimmer, my friends used to want me to drive everywhere. I drove around Northern California like I was going to the 7-11 on the corner. Took mad trips from San Jose to LA or Las Vegas.

My brother has an Audi S4, hasnt even had it a year, 60000 miles. He drives a lot for work, and then back and forth from his place, Cenral Cali, to the bay area (northern cali) every other week, and from his place to his lady's place (SoCal) all the time.
