Got M-tech?

Well I do. Haha but my front is finally on an I'm in love. Yes I know I'm doing an injustice by not posting pics but I will get to that soon. I followed up the front being installed with a wash, clay bar, and wax so shes shinin like diamonds. I had a quick question though, on my left front brake duct it has the hole that takes the air into the engine bay (close to the alternator) and it doesnt line up right with the hole in the engine. Anyone else has this problem? It fits perfectly in every other way. It's like the hole is in the back of the brake duct and the tube comes down to the middle of the brake duct and thus they will not fit together, any help would be apprieciated.

Thanks,
Austin

Yeah, I had the same problem so I just removed the duct coming from the engine into the bumper. No biggie. Wasn't it a pain to replace that metal bar. Hope you enjoy it, I am.

$ ?

As I know, you need to buy a new set of fog lights for the M-tech front.. how much total did you spend on doing this mod? Including painting and required accesories.

If you can list them out per item would be good.. because I am thinking of doing the same mod and want to know the estimated amount.

Thanks!

I spent about $800 total for the front and painting and mounting. $550 for the bumper with all the parts(for the sedan, it costs extra for the sedan front) and I got an awesome hook up at the paint shop and got it painted and installed for $250. Its an awesome mod totally changes the front of the car, gives it a lower profile and a mean look. By far my favorite mod so far.

The M-Tech bumper is the best. They should make it standard for the Sport-pack.

Haha Dev...I'm hoping to take pics next weekend if the weather's cool!!! Damned work...don't have time during the week! The front is a lot lower now though...scared I'm gonna scratch it up!!!

By the way, I got the whole thing done for $1080...$630 for bumper, $450 for paint and install...

And the box was HUGE...really light but a pain to carry...

What is the clearance that you have in the front with the new bumper?

Ray330i...I am in the Bay Area, Ca and got it done at Pro Tech in San Bruno for $450 paint and install...and yes I ordered from Pacific BMW!

Jonas...I didn't get a ruler or anything but its about 8 fingers between the ground and the lowest part of the bumper. I should mention that I got a bit of a drop on my car with H&R sports...
