Do they really own the car if mommy and daddy paid for it as well as insurance and maintenance?

Hehe, I had 3 mini bikes when I was a kid, too!

My first one was a little 5 hp Briggs & Stratton powered machine that looked a lot like the one in "Dumb & Dumber". It got stolen out of our garage.

Then my uncle who worked at Harley-Davidson bought me a Harley-Davidson X-90 "Shortster" 90cc 2-stroke (made in Italy!). I was only about 11 years old and I couldn't reach the clutch lever. Plus it could go 70 mph which was kind of scary for a little kid.

So my parents bought me a Honda Trail 70 to ride until I was big enough for the Harley.

It's amazing that I survived those 3 vehicles.

My first one was a generic 5 hp B&S bike too, the next one was a Yamaha Mini Enduro, then I down graded to a Rupp Scramber so I could affort a bike and my first stereo (built in 8 track of course). But, I REALLY wanted a Trail 70 - a couple of other "older" guys had them, and those were the coolest! I've thought about trying to search for one and see if I could restore it, but they've probably gone through the roof now like the original Schwinn Orange Krates / Lemon Pealers (I saw one last year for $3500, and they were $75 new in the early 70s....) I thought the Harley Trail Hopper was cool too - I looked at them before I found the Mini Enduro.
