Getting rid of those amber lights (not dome lights) in the interior?

is it possible to make all the interior lights like hyper white? I can't stand the amber glow they give off. I'm talkin bout the ones that are on the radio/dash/gauges....is this possible?

yes someone actually did it on the forums, but he said it was hard work. dont know who it was or where the thread is. apparently its alot of electrical work.

ALOT of work. Someone (and their SN escapes me) did the whole VW blue and red scheme. Looked cool, but damn...so much work.

the guy did it with blue and red as mentioned above but you have to replace every led which is a TON of work!

the amber is comforting on your eyes at night which is why bmw did it. They use the same amber color in jets

Same reason they use red in a darkroom. The "warmer" colored lights don't cause your pupils to close up and thus harm your night vision.

red also emits i think a lot lower a frequency not causing a fully developed photo to be turned to black.

Lower frequency = lower energy etc. The reasoning with the photo labs has to do a lot with the frequency response of the films and the photochemical interactions (blah blah blah = boring)
