Xenon retrofit

Hi Guys,

My 330ci doesn't have xenons.
If i buy some xenon headlamps are they a straight swap?
I have heard that my car wont self level the lights properly
Is this true?

Cheers,

Nick

buy P46s... the P stands for Projectors which means not only do you get xenon bulbs, ballasts, and ignitors but you also get the projectors requried to focus that light.

Jlevisw.com sells a full unit which comes with xenon headlights and halos which look really sharp

You will also have to run to the dealership to get your ECM flashed b/c it will give you the headlight out error unless you do.

I think that only happens if you swap over to OEM xenons... if you go with P46s, I don't think you have to do the reflash... at least i didnt

yes, even for P46, you have to go to dealership and get ECM flashed. know it from experience.

You can purchase a set of used OEM xenons off ebay. The problem you run into is that they are used and you cannot be sure of their condition or if they are even functioning. They come with no warranty and are hit and miss IMO.

For the same price as a set of OEM xenons, you can purchase our Projector46's which are full projector based xenon headlight replacements that swap out your halogens for factory quality xenons with built in angel eyes. Our headlights come with a full lifetime warranty and your choice of a full range of HID color temperatures. They are 100% plug and play, come with an installation guide, email/phone/AIM tech support, and everything you need for a full installation. Here is the product page:
