pls help.....HID............

hi,members,i have 2000 e46,and recently i putted the OEM HID on ,is that any problem or risk to pull out the fuse32 to make the flash off? thanku

not really, it just gets rid of the headlight warning on your dash. the only problem would be is that if one goes out, it won't show, but then you'll know just by turning it on anyhow

^^ like he said before the only problem will be if one of your headlights ACTUALLY goes out, but hopefully you will be able to catch it before you even start driving

Me and akhbhaat confirmed on ours that even with Fuse 32 pulled, it doesn't completely disable the headlight out warning system. Ours will still light up the headlight warning system if the actual bulb is not lit. The only way for you to know for sure is to pull fuse 32 and then unplug one headlight and see if the warning comes on.

There is no risk, however this trick doesnt work for all cars. It does generally work for 99-01 cars, the newer ones need to be flashed by the dealer.
