Pay the extra money and get a proven quality kit from one of our sponsors. I have a 6000k Prolumen kit from Jlevi and have nothing but good things to say about it, plus Jon provides some of the best customer service in the industry

You can get pretty good deals on ebay. The kits will actually work pretty well but you cannot guarantee they will work well for long.
Although it is a bit more expensive, we are offering ProLumen HID kits for $275 shipped. This is a group buy special that brings the price down from $329.99 retail. These come with a full lifetime warranty on all components and you can buy with confidence in that you know you are purchasing a quality HID kit that is proven and will work for years to come. And if anything fails, we are available via phone, email and AIM to diagnose the problem and expedite a replacement |

Try the James Bond kit from Jlevi for $225, seems like it's right up your alley.

Its hard to tell who has the best quality on ebay. My brother lucked out on his A4 (H7 kit) and has had it for about 2 years without any issues with the ballast or bulbs.
You could buy an H7 to D2R or D2S adapter. The advantage of this is a return line on the bulb that doesn't interfer with the beam pattern. Notice the 2 black lines in the picture below directly in front of the car, its in the area directly in the reflective portion of the bowl that spreads light onto the road

Good feedback only means they shipped it out promptly. Once the feedback is left the seller has no incentive to help you in a timely fashion or at all. Sponsors have alot to gain by going out of their way to help you, so far I havent had one complaint about the sponsors Ive shopped from. Ebay, thats another story.

@ BMW Loe Could you please explain in more depth (or anyone for that matter) what the benefits from going from H7 to "D2R or D2S" bulbs would be? I'm a little in the fog here. |

There isn't a big difference. The only downfall from using a D2S bulb in an H7 housing with an adapter is that you might change the focal point (for the good or bad, depending on bowl design). D2S bulbs are what come with OEM Xenons.
I would highly recommend a reputatable one such as Prolumen. Lifetime warranty on failed components, easy to reach customer support, plus you're supporting one of our own vendors.
