xenon fog kit - PROBLEMS

Okay, so I upgraded my headlight xenons to 6k. I decided to get the ballast kit as well for my fogs so they matched. Initially one of my headlight bulbs went bad almost immediately after installing. That was replaced and they have been good ever since.

Now for the fogs - first the passenger side went out. The both sides were out. Then they both magically worked again. Now, they are completely dead. What is the deal here!? I removed my front bumper yet AGAIN to take a look. Everything is wired up and connected as I even taped every connection. No water anywhere and the ballasts are securely mounted so they dont bounce around at all unless the car itself is bouncing.

I am at a loss for words as these things have worked maybe 3 hours total since installation. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Second, I am about to go back to normal non-xenon fogs to stay away from the problem. Does anything out there match 6k good or is my best bet the xenisis that match 4300?
