Just make it. Buy a jug of whey protein (once again Im gonna have to recommend Optimum Nutrition protein - $25 www.1fast400.com) and mix it with water, or milk if you're not strict dieting.

pre-made ones suck. You have 30 seconds to make yourself a shake

Do not mix it the night before. By the next morning, the protein will be useless after hours of just sitting there in the water or milk

I don't mind the taste, but don't expect it to taste great. Avoid gnc, instead purchase your supplements online at http://www.1fast400.com or bulknutrition.com (they're one int he same). They have the best prices around.

A vegetarian's grocery list (Most stuff from Wild Oats/ Whole Foods - organic)

Veggies: Tomato, potatoe, cauliflower, lettuce, onions, cabbage, carrots.
Fruits: banana, grapes, oranges and varieties, pears, apples.
Carb stuff: Bread, pasta, rice, lentils, beans, legume, naan.
Other Misc: milk, yogurt, figs, cashews, pistachios, other fruits etc.

I prefer using fruits instead of fruit-juices, since fruits have no "high-fructose corn-syrup", but contain fibers which are good.
Yogi.

Of all the posts I've read in forums in my life, this was easily the most captivating. It has all the elements of a great post, adventure, mystery, love, and danger...When I read this post, it took my breath away. Simply amazing. 10 stars!

You should be eating 4-6 times a day regardless if you want to gain or lose weight.

Besides dairy, where's your protein source?

I usually supplement my normal 3 meals a day with 2-3 snacks worth ~200 calories. For instance I have a banana before I workout, protein cereal after I workout, lunch, mid afternoon snack (around 3pm) which is more fruit usually, dinner, another fruit snack around 9pm. My snacks are almost always fruit, I am absolutely obsessed with it. That or some oatmeal, yogurt, or crackers with tuna.
