I bought some OEM M3 fog lights from a sponsor for my MtechII bumper. When i tried to installed them, i was unsuccessfull. The ones that i bought are alot bigger than the OEM MtechII fog lights. Are OEM M3 fog lights the same as the OEM MtechII fog lights. If they are why wont these fit? Will pictures help?? |

The M3 and M-tech/ZHP are the same foglights. Yes, pictures would help. The foglight covers are different from M3 to M-tech. The only thing I can think of is that you got the M-Aero foglights for the early kit. Or they sent you the wrong ones. Are they flat faced and angled or "domed" foglights?

The ones I have look like the ones on the right. They do look like they have the same mounting positions/spots. With the bulb in, it would seem to be the same length? Where/why is it not fitting? They are left and right specific, what does it say on the front of the lense? I'm not sure on this, but there may be three different suppliers of these foglamps. Bosch, Hella and ZKW. I have ZKW

I see your point though. Too large is too large. But are they too large to fit-in from the front? Or are they also too large to fit in when installing from the back side? Or does neither make a difference?

None makes a difference. They are just too big.. Was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. Thanks for the input..
