I bought some OEM M3 fog lights from a sponsor for my MtechII bumper. When i tried to installed them, i was unsuccessfull. The ones that i bought are alot bigger than the OEM MtechII fog lights. The M3 and M-tech/ZHP are the same foglights. Yes, pictures would help. The foglight covers are different from M3 to M-tech. The only thing I can think of is that you got the M-Aero foglights for the early kit. Or they sent you the wrong ones. Are they flat faced and angled or "domed" foglights?

The ones on the right are the OEM MtechII fog lights that I received when i bought my bumper. The ones on the left are the ones i just bought from a sponsor. I did some research before i bought the OEM M3 fog lights from the sponsor and found that they are the same. But according to the pictures below they are not. Are these even OEM as the sponsor claimed?? I dont even see a part number.. Reason im posting is that they did not fit my MtechII bumper.

The ones I have look like the ones on the right. They do look like they have the same mounting positions/spots. With the bulb in, it would seem to be the same length? Where/why is it not fitting? They are left and right specific, what does it say on the front of the lense? I'm not sure on this, but there may be three different suppliers of these foglamps. Bosch, Hella and ZKW. I have ZKW

The originals that i have are ZKW. The ones that i got from the sponsor are not mark by anything other than L/R. They have the same mounting positions but the housing itself is too large to fit in my bumper(look at middle picture). The left ones are wider than the right ones. I guess i just want to gather as such information before i contact the sponsor. Dont want to make false accusations.

I see your point though. Too large is too large. But are they too large to fit-in from the front? Or are they also too large to fit in when installing from the back side? Or does neither make a difference?

None makes a difference. They are just too big.. Was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. Thanks for the input..
