Help! taillight problems

my gauges says that my right taillight is out, but i checked all the bulbs and its stilll working fine. When the lights are turned on and i step on the break, the warning turns off. What is the problem????

Bad connection, most likely. Make sure there's no corrosion not only on the bulbs/harnesses, but on all the connector harness contacts as well.
