BMW Loe,

Appreciate your input. Mine is 1999 Pre-Facelifted Sedan. Will the 'pull the Fuse' thing work on mine? Where is that fuse located? In the driver's side gloves compartment or passenger's side fuse box?

Thanks in advance.

How to get rid of this error message? Kinda annoying and weird...

Will appreciate your help.
The best way to get rid of this warning is take your car to the dealer and have them flash your car to ENABLE the xenon retrofit path.

Some 99-01 E46's can get past this by just pulling Fuse 32 as BMW Loe explained. However this is not a widely applicable solution.

The fuse is in the glovebox on the passenger side.

Another thing: Will the Error Message continue apearing after I install one of the Projector 46 headlights with aftermarket HID kit without pulling fuse 32?

If you get an error right now with both of them installed, you'll more than likely get a headlight out error for which ever side you install the HID kit.

This is what you're going to need to order, it's the adaptor for the HID in the 3-series
