s/c compatible with other mods

hello, i have a 330Ci 2003 with some mods but have heard that with some for example, you have to get rid off in order to make the supercharger work. i have a intake, headers, exhaust, underdrive lightweight pulley kit, goin to get schrick cams and 3.64 differential, will any of these affect a supercharger, cuz i heard the underdive pulley kit will but wut about anythin else cuz i dont wanna waste money until i get my s/c thanks

Pulleys not recommended (or needed) if sc.

Intake, headers, exhaust really depend on the sc kit you buy and whether they offer software to support your setup.

Don't waste your money on cams... you would need different cams na than you would sc.

Would also recommend skipping the 3.64 diff as that is pretty short for a sc e46. I would recommend getting the sc and then see how much (if any) extra gearing you want. LSD would be a big help.

Technik also has cams and I believe ESS has said they are working on FI cams to go along with their SC kits.

For normally aspirated engines, you typically need more intake duration. With forced induction, you need more duration on the exhaust cam as exhausting all the air forced in by the supercharger quickly becomes the limiting factor. Thus for NA performance you might want 264/248 cams and for FI you might want 248/256 cams. You could probably run 264/248 cams in a SC e46 but it wouldn't be the optimal setup. That's why I advised against getting cams now if you are going to SC later... wait and get the FI cams later.

i was going to do the same mistake until somebody from Infinitas told me that shrick cams and sc are not a good ideea.the original cams are better on a sc engine.if you want to rule NA the schrick cams deliver about 35hp on a 330ci.that's what they told me from schrick.good luck

Well Schrick just blew smoke up your ass because there is no way you get 35hp out of cams on a 330.

Im not either, thats like believing Dinan when they say you get 18hp out of their intake(M3). Dont believe everything you hear, i will look online for a dyno to show you a comparison

Well, if you click the banner at the top of the page (being as they are a sponsor)... it takes you to their web page which says their new site will be up... this month?

There are plenty of folks here that should know how to reach Technik, I'd post a new thread asking how.

I'd just pick up a set of the Technik FI cams, they're roughly 1200 for a set plus labor. Those will definitely make a nice difference on your car

The best way to deal with contacting technik currently is through email. Samir can repsond to people quicker that way. Thier new site should up soon, as it's already September, the new site is pretty sick by the way, it'll be here soon enough-
