schrick cams

hey guys,
i want to know if i am going to replace the stock cams with 264/248 from schrick what else should i change at the car?valve spings?is cams changing a difficult operation?

You don't need to change anything other than the cams. However, it's not an easy job, I would recommend a BMW dealership that owns the 6 special tools needed to do the job.

The Schrick cams are probably my favorite engine mod on my own car.

just replacing the stock with the schrick,no other changes?my car 100k ?will the sport cams be a problem?

Since you are posting in the FI forum, are you also considering FI at some point in the future? This could impact your cam selection.

agreed, if you're planning on going the FI route either soon or in the future, I'd becareful which cams you go with or get cams after you get the s/c installed on the car.
