What determins max HP
What is the maximum horsepower a super charger can produce with 328? On the Active Autowerke's
Web site it list 257 rear wheel horsepower at 8 psi. Can the psi be increased to increase the horsepower? For example, they list the 330 at 277hp@ 8psi. Can a 328’s psi be increased to match the hp of the 330? What is the limiting factor in determining hp on a stock engine? Engine size Transmission Boost ? |

You can raise the boost, but there is no software for anything higher than 10.5 psi I believe.. And going much higher would require you to lower the compression via pistions. You could raise the boost and then do a ported cylinder head, headers, full exhaust, and some cams and you would be well over a 330ci w/ just supercharger.

I dont want to sound mean, but "There is no replacment for displacment". You can boost all you like, but how much can that block and motor take is the question. Good luck with everythin.

Thanks for the info. After doing some research, I found that a 328 could produce in excess of 300 rwhp.
