you can add forced induction camshafts (profile 248/256), headers, port & polished cylinder head or easier go with a kit that has an intercooler and produces more power.
if you have a steptronic 330 (if i remember correctly), and you're afraid an intercooled setup will produce too much power for your transmission, you can simply put on a bigger pulley to reduce the boost and thus reduce power output

I'd contact technik directly and just pick up a stage 1 kit w/ intecooler. You'll definitely make more than 55hp, promise, especially with the intercooler. Other mods that are great to add outside of the s/c kit are headers, cams, exhaust, diff, and a clutch and or flywheel. If you have any other questions let me know and I can try to help you out. If not just email samir and let him know chris sent you and hell take care of any of your questions/concerns. good luck!

Hi Guys,
I'm also looking at SK+ as the simplest option for me to increase my power output. Installing a 6.5psi pulley would give me the perfect balance between power output and reliability. What affect would this have on the s/c and how would it affect how the car drives over using the standard pulley. Thanks

The SK+ kit runs well in good climate. would definately suggest an intercooler if you are driving in hot climate

Thanks for your reply. Does that mean the power output is affected by the heat or the mechanical operation of the S/C is affected.

your car now without a supercharger is affected by weather
It does not make as much power if the air is hot because it less dense |

Just the power output would be affected. You'll find a s/c will be amazing at night, when the air is both cool and denser. A nice upgrade is also some IK-22 plugs which will help cool the motor a little. Another nice cooling mod would be an oil cooler.
