Just traded my e46 for an e90!

Holy batman! That is crazy!!! Talk about profit. That's funny how they quickly mark up the prices and just did a quick overview of the car, so they can sell it FAST!! You should have one of your buddies go check it out and pretend he is interested and see what they say about the car.

I love both your cars...except for the auto transmission. I would want an e90 just like the one you got except for the auto. My mom has a e90 330i, with the sport package. In my opinion the car handles soo much better and is much more lively than my car. I still love driving my car but the e90 is great. The only problem we have had is with a squeek from the steering column.

I did pretty much the same as you did. I went from E46 330i STEP to an E90 330i 6spd. I'd say the E46 gave me more confidence flying into a corner, but honestly, I think it's because the E90 is just that much more relaxed going through the turn, it feels like it's not as close to the limit. And the E90 330i 6spd can't even compare to an auto 330i. The E90 is more comfortable, quiter, more powerful, gets better fuel economy, and has a sound system that BLOWS the h/k out of the water. If the E46 330i was a 5spd, I'd still take the E90 over it. The E90 was definatly an upgrade, for me at least, over the E46.

Congrats on the purchase though, the more you drive it, the more you'll love it. I've got over 17k on my 8/05 330i, and not ONE problem yet. No quirks that the first year E46's had.

Very nice purchase, the more I see the new style the more I like it. The pictures do it no justice. A guy at my apt. complex just bought a 335i

Nice switch, but the E46 prefacelift coupe will go down in history as one of the best and sexiest car ever to grace this planet.

I personally love the new 3 series. The E46 is classy and clean and will always be sexy, however... its showing its age in all aspects. I cannot wait for the new M3 to come out. It will be amazing!

Good points -I think you are right, b/c I know on paper the handling on my new car is excellent, but I could somehow feel it more w/ the e46.. I'm sure I will get used to it...
