Z3 M wheels on a non M Z3......

What would it take? I would guess the front wheels would bolt right up, but the rear wheels would need adapters at the least? Anyone familiar with this wheel swap?

It would fit no problem. my friend did some calculations, and said that it'd fit my 325Ci. I'm sure it'd fit anything else also

I'm not sure if I'm getting it though, because my stock rims look a lot like the M coupe/roadster's...and if I'm going to spend money on rims, I don't want to get something that's practically the same, but 2 inches larger

if u've got the money and the will, go for it though

I am pretty sure the rears aren't going to fit under a Z3. I just thought for a second, and realized I had it backwards. The rears are going to stick out too far, and more than likely hit the fenders.

So.........has anyone converted to fit M wheels, or an offset like the M wheels for a Z3?

z3 rear wheel is 17x9 with 18mm offset!

Hell not it will fit an e46 non-m.

what I meant to say was that the new 2006 ///M Coupe/Roadster's rims will fit non-M E46's...I'm not sure about any other wheel <=[ sorry, my mistake...

as for the main issue...it's never going to possible to fit other ///M rims onto non-M, due to the offset. ///M offsets tend to be too severe for non-M's unless you roll the fenders (wheel well lips) or maybe get a wide-body kit o_O!...the only set that I know will fit is like I said above ^^^ [new M coupe/roadster rims --> non-M E46]

i'm pretty SURE that they do...not 100% though

the new M coupe wheels do fit on the non-M Z4 or non-M coupes... We just bought them for our Z4 (like are coming in today). They are 18x8 42mm, 18x9 30mm. the rear are just as aggressive as our 40mm 18x10 bbs ch. You just have to run 255/35r18, 225/40r18

sorry to thread jack, but where are you from, and where did u get the rims from (what dealer?), and for how much? I'm considering getting these in the future

its not gonna git a non-M Z3. Unlike the MZ4 - which has the same fenders as the non-M, the M Z3 has larger fenders to accomodate the larger wheels in the back. You can only run the fronts.

Bringing up an old thread. So what's the consensus on fitting 17x7.5, 17x9 Z3M wheels onto an e46? Or can anyone tell me the offsets of the Z wheels?
