My Ride: bmw e46 m3 convertib
Thumbs down oem led nightmare!!!

Hi all,, recently purchased oem led rear lights for my 2001 m3 convertible and I gotta say what a nightmare they av become to install.
Know a friend of a friend working for a bmw dealership who said he could configure and reflash for the led's to work,,fitted in and no joy,,bought a used lcm off a late 2003 model, as he said that may be the problem due to year of manufacture of car because some early lcm's cannot be configed,,he thwn tried configuring and still no joy,,,now there is a little dot that keeps flashing next to trip computer mileage whilst car running and problem still not sorted,,what a nightmare. He has recommended me to get a brand new lcm as that might be the problem but still not sure if it will work??I wished i never thought of the upgrade idea ,,any suggestions as to any possible cures or shall i just forget about it all together???has anyone else had same issues???
opinions please
