rear seat lighting....

I have an '01 Convertible and the one thing that drives me insane at night is that there is no light whatsoever in the back of the car when you open the doors or turn on the lights inside. IS there any way to either wire up some of the same kinds of lights under the dash/footwell, but mount them under the front seats so there's some light in the back. Or, mount lights somewhere on the rear panels (If you've ever been in a saab 9-3 convertible you'll know what I mean).
