its not hard to do, just gotta break the projector off of another unit and mount it with some epoxy or strong glue or double sided tape

I want to do it myself and I know that it's more than just to glue projectors ... And I don't think it will cost me more that $300 ... I'm just looking for good advise or some DIY ...

i dont have em because frankly unless i could find em for cheap im not wasting the money to buy a whole new headlight set just for the projector, waste of money IMO

If you can get an extra set of headlights for cheap, then go for it. Also, the work involved in installing them ranges in difficulty/permanency.(aesthetics vs functionality)
Definitely one of the most exclusive E46 mods out there. I love mine.

you can pick up some projectors off ebay. 2.5" or 3" probably better. You would need a shroud to go around it so they don't look wierd. I'm thinking about doing it but would much rather get a spare set of headlights just in case i mess up so i don't screw up my headlights that are in use.

given the cost, i would suggest doing other things before that...
