Pic request: Facelifted 04+ coupes on CSL-style replicas

Just wanted to see some 2004+ coupes on CSL-replicas..either 18's or 19's. And please state if your set-up is staggered and what tire sizes you're running.


As a side question: Is the suspension the same thing on a 325ci and a 330ci if have both the sport package? Or is the 330 more aggressively tuned?

I dun think it would look any different on facelift versus pre-facelift (there should be lots of installed pics online; maybe google it? or search around the forum for pics)...it's not bad looking at all, so get it if you can get over the fact that a lot of others have it as well ...as for the suspension, 330's is always going to be a little more agressive, even if you have sport suspension on 325 (I think)...pretty sure...cuz 330's supposed to be better, so wouldn't make any sense if even with sport, 325's better than any 330 in any way?

Nice...looks damn good. What tire sizes are you running? And will the staggered setup fit a 325ci with stock sport suspension? I think right now I have 225/40/R17 All the way around.

And is there any difference between 325ci sport suspension and 330ci sport suspension? Is it just the staggered set-up on the 330ci?

GoodYear GSD3 225/40 and 255/35. The 18in staggered setup will fit a 325i with sport just fine. I have zero fitment/rubbing issues. The sports suspension is standard on coupes. The sport "package" gives you staggered wheels on the 330.

NICE car. Your setup is sick. How different is the harshness/road noise/handling with the 19's from the stock setup? Are they a comfortable fit for the car?

You know I haven't ran the stock 17's in like 2 years so I can't really remember the difference. But the 19's, to me, are fine. Very comfortable.
Thanks for the compliment....I plan on getting M3 mirrors hopefully if anyone ever gets that solved and PSS9 suspension to drop it all around lower. I'm toying with a CSL trunk but think that might not look good on our setups versus M3s.

Hmm..so your suspension right now is stock? No drop? Just a question though: how are the roads by you? I live on the North Shore of Long Island and the roads here are not the worst, but not the greatest either. There aren't many potholes, but the roads do have their rough patches occasionally and random bumps/bulges and many manhole covers. One fear I have of getting these CSL reps is the damage they might take from the roads around here. Are these wheels forged or cast?

I try to drive paying attention to the roads, and I slow down or try to avoid bumps altogether about 75% of the time.

Also, would you recommend the CSL reps from bimmian?


P.S. I agree with you on the CSL trunk..I was seriously considering it, but I think it's better suited for the M3.

Northern Cali, roads are nice up here.
I got mine from Modbargains.com, but they are the same I think. I doubt they are forged...I wish they made them in 19x10

Your setup is nice and looks really aggressive. Are you on stock suspension? And did you roll your fenders? Do you have any problems rubbing if you have a full car?

Stock sport suspension, no fender rolling. With three women in the car I never had any issues....
