moving down from 540 to 325

I had much fun with my 540i 2000, including a trip back and forth across the country with 100-120 mph driving many places! But it did not make much sense around town, so I sold it to my son at 70,000 miles. He is now very happy! I found the 325xi 2003 45,000 miles, so I'll let someone else take the depreciation for a change. Now I am looking for my $500 check from BMW through my BMW club membership. I am hoping for many miles of carefree driving, but something is sure to go wrong??? Changing to a black grill and a short shifter should make it even more enjoyable.

540 to 325xi, that is a big change.

Did something similar myself not long ago but much less dramatic. When from 02 530i sport/5MT to 03 330i vert/Auto. Love the 5 specially with a manual, but wanting a vert and auto trnny so the wife can enjoy it too.
