What is your fav. thing about your E46?

Mine has to be the handling and ride comfort, it's awesome.

Whats yours?

The handling, or the torque, tough decision. Although I have the sport package, my ride is kind of stiff - definitely feel every bump. Or maybe my springs are shot, I don't know though.

the fact that its a 02 and ppl still say "nice new bimmer" haha, i swear 95% of the population has no idea how old/new cars are

torque? you must mean 'lack' of torque

Amen to that, I got hollered at just last night in front of work. Couple of college co-eds sitting outside of starbucks yelled "nice car." Brief chit-chat, and I walked away with a few numbers.

But, mostly refined ride. Everything is where it should be as well as handling, I can't drive another FWD vehicle again, I'm afraid I'll take a sharp turn in it and end up in the grass.

since its winter, how the car blows out heat in less than 2 minutes after start-up and how the car fully warms up to operating temperature in less than 10 minutes.

That's true as well. I walked out of my gf's house during the summer and saw a middle-age couple walking down the street and stopping at my ride, taking there time walking around it. So I walked out of the house to check to see whats up, and turns out they we're planning to buy a new car.

They asked if i like the car, and said yes of course. After a while, I told them this was a used CPO car with 48,000 miles on it. There jaws dropped and thought it was a 2006 E90. I washed and waxed it just before that, so thats probably why.

But, I recommended them a 5-series instead of a E90 3, partly because the sedan is still not my cup of tea. And since there middle-age, a 5 seem more fitting.

I love that almost five years into ownership I still consider my car to be sexy and sleek looking.

Just don't tell my gf that I used those adjectives to describe a car.

sounds so much like me.

Whenever I wash my car and say something along those lines (ie it looks really sexy) she slaps the sh*t out of my arm and gets all upset

I second this! No other car warms up as fast.

No, I meant torque. After driving an old 4 cylinder g20 and an old 5 cylinder Acura Vigor, the torque of the BMW is awesome !!

The fact that I don't have to slow down to take corners where other cars have to - the car just turns, nice and flat, no fuss (thank you UUC sways!).....and the overall package of handling and refinement. I just spent last week test driving a bunch of new cars as possible replacements, but nothing comes close, so I'm hanging on to my ride!!

Handling, headlights, interior....everything.

I like everything mentioned above..but what I like most is when its a cold night... and you have a girl that sittin shot gun...complainin shes cold... I tell her...let me warm ya up a bit with those seat warmers.. all of a sudden you see a big smile on there face!....
