anyone interested in SMG2 shifters?



I think they are the shinier ones on the US spec SMG2 m3's. I have hookups and may be gettin one, anyone interested?

I would assume it fits a manual shifter?

I think it would look a little out of place honestly. I mean, the chrome one looks cool as hell on the SMG's, but on a stick I think it would look boxy, and plus the shift pattern up top is all wack.

I'm not knocking your idea though, I'm anxious to see the results!

I believe that whole thing will works on normal E46 with steptronic. Like the shifter, shifter boot, and the panel for the SMGII. Cause I saw one on a magazine, BUT it might need huge modification. Will post the pic once I found that magainze, cause is been a long time last I saw it.

i don t think the smg2 box is big enough for the step controls.. isn t the step like a backwards L .. the smg box is a small circular boot.


I GUESS I will have to be the test dummy.. Should I even bother?
