Cracked my BBS CH

Yesterday I noticed my tire looked low, so I filled it and I have had a slow leak. I took it off today to inspect the tire but found a 2" crack in the rim instead..

This is on 19x8.5 on my rear so I was going to replace both with 9.5's and have an 8.5 for spare. Problem is tire rack is sold out until the 19th! Does anyone know where I can buy these right now?

I also need to get new tires anyway, so which should I get? I had some cheap fuzions on for the last year, I'd like something a little better with decent tread life.

How wide of a tire can I put on the rear? Since these are et35 (330CI) and I am on a H&R cupkit, should I even try wider than the 245/35?

The CH 19x9.5 rear is 40mm offset. The tire to run would be 255/30/19.

You can run 245, but that is stretching the tire. If your fenders are rolled you should be ok. Make sure you cut a little off the plastic line also.

265/30R19 will be fine too, slightly taller, you may rub unless your rolled, but I was running 265/30R19 on the rear for about a year.

40mm offset with a 265...you will rub. Roll your fenders and you still will be rubbing if you are lowered. On bad dips and bumps or a full load of people in the car, you will rub.

I am not assuming....I had 265 on coilovers and I rubbed. Go with 255 and you will be happy.

Its too late, the tires are already in the mail. At least I almost never have people in my back seat.

Sorry about the lack of availability... why you can't find them is that BBS themselves are out of stock. We did a dealer search for you and could not find any inventory, but more are on the way from Germany and will be here soon.

Watch our website for new BBS styles and for our BMW-specific catalog:

People have driven on worse - but people have also competed for the Darwin Award.

I would not recommend driving on it.
