hey just say thanks to unmitza!! i think they have the best lookin angel light out there that looks bright and noticeable day n nite! and of course i had to upgrade to 6000k hid with matching hid 6000k fog lights, hell wit it just get the whole package l.e.d. turn signals side markers.. after its all done i'll gareentee its worth it after all its an m3 a must !!!

and foregot to mentioned they do a great job install like a pro!!!so no worrys!

would i pay over twice the cost to get the same results??

i dont need a rolex, all it does is tell time

...i just want people to know that ebay and wiring yourself , is a great alternative and equal results from what i have read and seen

They're worth it. I had them shipped all the way to Malaysia, paid a bomb for tax and shipping, and I still think they're worth it.

Predator Chromiums are the way to go, but just be sure you get the 6000k ones and not the Blue or Red ones. Those are not legal for street use and will get you pulled over on the side of the road pretty quickly with a smokey on your 6 giving you a fix.

I have DDE Heated Raptors, and they're absolute CRAP. I have done about everything and they still don't work properly. I've had them on for about a year.
I have installed multiple sets of the Predator Chromiums on other M3's and they all look and work much better than mine and others I've seen. I'm putting Predator Chromiums on my car as soon as it warms up.

As for if they're worth it to own, that's up to you. Do you like how they look? They look aftermarket, but do not look gaudy. I am very impressed by their classy looks, and you will get a lot of attention for having them. They are a very good investment that you will be very happy with.

I bought DDE Non-heated raptors for $150 shipped, they have been in the car for 6 months and I haven't had any problems with them.

I did my research and settled on the raptors -- at the time, Predator Chromium would have run me around $250.

These include rings for all 4. The original E39 design was also all 4 rings, not just the high beams.

Thousands of sets sold... almost 100% satisfaction rate.

Wow, that really sucks. 4 replacement ballasts already? I thought they came with free lifetime warranty, so why do you pay $10 each time for a replacement? A ballast doesn't even cost that much.

The part is replaced free. The shipping and handling is extra.

The customer can contact us and send back their original part for testing, or they can pay the shipping and handling fee and not deal with it.

Since 99.99% of our customers do the latter, our customers believe it's a legitimate and valid warranty mechanism.

umnitza... how long is the warranty on the chromium angel eyes? or.. if i buy it off someone.. an individual.. do i still have the warranty and what would i need to do if something goes wrong?thanks.

I agree. In fact, if I remember correctly, a guy posted about buying angel eyes off ebay and getting the exact same product that Umitza sells as chromiums. Like teabag said earlier, you're not paying for the quality, you're paying for the service and the warranty. If you're a DIY guy, you can do the exact same project that would cost you about $230-240, for about $60-80.

happy with my raptors.

I have had had two ballasts and a ring go out, one side is often dimmer than the other, the connection is sketchy and the garbage clips wont hold them at the right angle inside the headlight housing. Other than that they have been great.

They are a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.

yes theyre worth it. i wish they had em for the e90s!!!!!
