how can I tell if it takes xenon lights?, im not schooled at all in lights?, I do know my car has the premium package?

If the car came factory equipped with Xenon, then it is D2S.

If the lights are aftermarket, then they would probably be H7.

how can I check if its factory equipped with xenon? any specific bulb patterns...etc

If your car has xenons, your headlights look like this:

If not, your headlights look like this:

Notice the projector housing on the outer beam in the first picture, it looks like a small crystal ball.
