I put black wheels on my car for winter tires. Stock 135's for summer.

FWIW, I think the car looks "dressier" with bright wheels. I fear that the black wheel look will be the automotive equivalent to parachute pants.

that ///M3 doesnt look bad.....and i agree that some straight black wheels are ugly because there is no contrast between the painted black wheel and the tire which makes it very ugly! i think on some cars black wheels look wonderful though (cough*cough*)
