Question Dinan CAI

If I get Dinans CAI do they have to install or can I do it myself and if I can do it myself will the Dinan dealer sell me one

you could do it yourself..but if you're gonna do that, why not pick up a GruppeM? i like it alot better than the dinan one. Check the sale forum, there might be a few available.

there are several places that you can buy a Dinan CAI from. but if your so decided on the dinan style, why not save yourself some money and go w/ the benfer intake. same style and performance for about $250 less. my mind was made up on the dinan and when i saw the dyno for the benfer, i decided to go with that instead.

Actually $260 less with the special E46fanatics.com member pricing.. K&N's and AEM bypass valves are cheaper too for members. Thanks for the words StreetTrix...

I had the Dinan CAI and Stage II software. Very nice combo and good performance boost and sound improvement. There's a slightly annoying squeal under low RPMs but you get used to it.

Same here, I was thinking about Dinan, then RD and finally Idecided on BenFer, I don't regret it, great rerf., looks good and you save money for ather goodies. Don't hesitate, just go for it.

It's actually below my fog lights, you can touch the K&N if you put your hand under the bumper. It's the bomb.
