Projector 46's???????????
I am considering buying p46's from jlevi but just had a quick question for those of you that have these. Do you know if I can have the angel eyes upgraded to the predator chromiums? or does it already come with chromiums?

I have the P46s and if I am not mistaken they come standard with the Predator Chromiums. BTW, they are an awesome mod.

Our P46's come with a custom installed version of our Predator Series angel eyes. They are identical in terms of brightness and visibility so there is no need to upgrade. Furthermore, our standard Predator Chromium kits are not compatible with P46 headlights as P46's have built in bezels for the angel eyes.

The only problem I encountered was the "bulb out warning" on the dash and some "flickering issues. I had my dealer flash the "LCM' and that took care of it. It really depends on what year you have, on earlier models I have read you can pull one of the fuses. I would check with Nick on this one, since I am familar only with my year.

PS: There is also another way to avoid the Flashing the LCM, it has to do with resistors; this is something I read about, but nothing about. Maybe someone can chime in on that.

...You could pull your fuse#32 to prevent "bulb out warning" and I believe you do not need to flash your LCM... I think that's only for 2003 on... |
