Angel eyes... I don't know nothin about nothin..
So... a friend pointed me to this site when I realized that the plastic shield for my headlights was cracked and letting water in which shorted my xenon low beams.. BMW wanted lots of money to go and poke around in there which I didn't think needed doing and thanks to these forums (can't remember which thread) I was able to get parts and change it all myself.. so thanks everyone, you guys rule.
But now I'm interested in angel eyes lighting.. I think only my low beams are xenon, are angel eyes essentially a drop in mod? Or should a car-tard like me find someone to do it? Can I even do angel eyes with my lights? 2001 325i.. Thanks guys. |

I got some very bright white angel eye rings off of ebay here in the UK for £35. simply clipped them on, wired up the inverter, sat said inverter under the black plastic inner liner, put back together, and hey presto, hot-ass angels

With our Predator Chromium kit, you can easily retrofit the halos in yourself. Our kits are designed for the DIY in mind and include a full installation guide to help you along the way. The install should take a maximum of about 1.5-2 hours.

Does it involve installing an on/off switch or do they just come on with the headlights?

If you install per our instructions, they will fade on when you unlock the car with your factory remote, stay on whenever the car is on and fade off when you lock the car with your factory remote. We also have instructions to install a kill switch so that you can turn them on and off at will.

or you can just wire them in place of the origional day-time light bulb?
simply unplug the connector for that bulb (easy to locate) and wire in the angles. I did this, and they function in place of the dim low-light visibility bulbs. on when when light dial is in the first position or second (full lights), off when off. |
