When I deployed to Iraq I had 2 weeks notice. One to get my stuff straight and the other week in pre-deployment training.

BTW: U.S. Army /SPC(P)/Information Systems Operator Analyst/3 yrs down, and 3 more to go!

BIAP isn't that great... I was at Camp Victory for my stint in the sandbox... you wanna talk lakes and palaces? They actually work in the palace there.

Finance will earn you double or tripple salary when you get out for sure. My civilian job is finance and my Army MOS is as a signal officer. Trust me finance is where the $$$$ is at both in the civilian sector and defense.

I agree with you...but I didn't join the army to be a desk b1tch.

I was a shmuck and tried to ride this finance thing out...I should have switched back to infantry or something else.

I'm not an action junkie or anything. But I loved the challenge and the fact that there was no daily routine.
