Pre-facelift and facelift XENON headlight conversion

Hey guys I purchased a Xenon light from this guy and to begin with my car is a 99 e46 sedan, he sent me a 2002 e46 sedan light, now i was just wondering if you can change it to a prefacelift light. My car was in a accident, and the I have the original light but only the insides are broken, is there anyway to change it, or should I just return it back to him, I think I have all the parts to change it over ie. cover etc, but am not sure on the ballast or grey computerized portion, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry guys, he told me its off a 00 coupe not a 02 sedan, now is there anything I have to change other then the cover lens, which I already have from the old one?any help???

i think you'll have to change the trim inside as well. other than that, you're good to go

yea i just changed the cover and inner trim, they fit perfect,all im concerned if the ballast is the same or the wiring?
