6000K or 8000K HID's
I'm getting 6000K HID bulbs to match my 6000K Angel Eyes. My brother wants to get 8000K for his car.
My question is "Are 8000K Legal in Texas". Do you think the cops will give him trouble for having too blue of a light? I've seen a truck with what I think are 8000K bulbs and Man - those lights were BLUE. I know several people have the 8000K HID's - any issues with the cops? Thanks,

8 shouldn't be a problem
They are blueish.... but they aren't as bad as the 10 or 12k |

So - I'm thinking the lights that I saw may have been 10,000K or even 12,000K because they were really BLUE.

Definitely go with the 6000k. The 8000k will be too aqua and will not match your Chromiums which are 6000k. Both are legal but you lose a bit of light output with the 8000k compared to the 6k and IMO it provides a better color.

Thanks Jlevi, I am getting 6000K for myself - it will match my Angel Eyes perfectly. I'm thinking of getting 6000K HID for my M-Techik Fog Lights also. Is there any issue with hooking up HID Fog lights?

Nope not at all, you can run our ProLumen HID kits in your fogs. They are 100% plug and play and work right with your stock housing, you would need 9006 bulbs if you have the Mtech style bumper.
