how do these guages work?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...spagenameZWDVW - with these, do i need to replace any bulbs to get them to look like this? will i have the cool blue colors if i just replace the gauges..?

I had a set of those in my explorer. It is an overlay, so you don't replace any bulbs or anything, and it lights up kinda like the indiglow on a watch does.. it is powered by a transistor you will have to mount behind the cluster.. I don't remember much else, but I felt like I was playing a videogame when I drove because of the way my dash looked.. haha

I had that on my 98 Eclipse Spyder GS-T back in the days when the Fast & Furious was all that. I think it would look too tacky on a BMW. Now if you had a Civic than that would be tight - LOL.
