help a benz driver out with HIDs

i know this is a bmw forum, but i was told this is the place for HID info. i have a 2005 benz g 500 and am having problems with getting HIDs to work correctly on it. first problem, headlights:

i had a philips kit put on it, and sometimes one light will not turn on, and you have to flip the switch on and off a few times. i also keep getting the bulb defective message for both headlights. what would be the way to fix this?

2nd problem is the fogs
i had a yellow HID fog kit installed, and if you turn them on with the engine off, they work perfectly. if you turn them on with the engine running, they both just flicker really fast. i am also getting the bulb defective message on both of these lights too. any ideas?

thanks alot for the help!

you need to have your car get flashed for xenons. basically have them reprogram your car to accept xenons for the lows. since there aren't any benz i know of with HID fogs stock, you'll have to wire some resistors to the fogs to get them to stop blinking. should do the trick.

and the best place for HID info is HIDplanet.com
