2002 330ci Halogen to Xenon Conversion
I current am driving around with halogen headlights. I want some that is brighter and the only thing i can think of is XENON. I have been looking on ebay for part and complete headlights. Complete headlights are expensive so i found this kit from a e46 m3. Will this work for me?? I plan on rebuilding my headlight to Xenon retrofit.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...21295998QQrdZ1 What other part would i need to complete this conversion?? |

you'll need the chrome bezel to cover everything. else it will look ugly. that's kind of hard to find. and reflash, like itzeug said.
you can get some sylvania silverstars, their halogen bulbs are pretty damn bright. or you can get an HID kit and put it in there. cheaper than getting projectors. just aim them real low to avoid blinding people. another option is to get p46s. it's still a lot, but it's cheaper than brand new OEMs. if you can, look for a used set of OEMs.

find a used set in the classified section and get the re-flash for $50-80...i got my used set(bi-xenon) for $500 and paid $75 for a flash at an indy shop.

I found a couple of kits online:
bimmian.com $314 shipped, looks like a really good product...with instructions uniqueeurodesign.com $175 shipped, but seems too good to be true. I'm not quite sure on a few things. Check out this thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=439962 It has a DIY on an upgrade kit. |

i have bought 3 kits for ued. and with their low failure rate i wouldn't mind taking the chance. also that price is for the gb, otherwise it would be like 200 something.
