expensive to buy harness and ballast separately?
i may be getting 4500k rings w/o ballasts and harness but wondering if it this is worth it or not as ive heard buyin the ballast and harness is expensive

i guess it just depends on how much you can get those rings for
if it is more than $200, than it is not worth it because thats how much the kits are goin for from jlevi |

You can get a set of ballasts from vibelights.com for 16.50 shipped. You don't need a "harness" though. All you need is a relay and some 18AWG wire. You can make your own harness very very easily.
