Possible to make brake lights on tails 'blink' as turn signal?

I have red/clear/reds now - and I am stubborn about my bulbs - Stock orange bulbs show up like yolk from far but have the best illumination when on, and solaris invisibles look great when off but dim as during the day.

So before I jump the gun on new tails (LED perhaps?) or got back to stock () I was wondering if it would be possible to use the lower brake light (I believe this comes on during hard braking/abs) as a turn indicator?

Any ideas.. my first guess would be to join the wire from the turn bulb to the bottom bulb.

Anyone do this before?
