Sticker City Smoked Tails 20% or 35%?

I have a Jet Black coupe. StickerCity has two tint options. What would look better? 20% or 35%? Could you guys post some pics of what you have? I don't want the tails to disappear and was only planning on tinting the red portion of my LED tails.

I would like to see a picture of 35% if someone has it.

Also, do you guys use an exacto knife to cut the film? Do you cut it once its on the lights or before? It seems like the line between the white and red would be difficult.

here is a pic of mine, the darker of the two options they give

and yes i used a sharp exacto knife. i cut it once its on the light. you will have to be perfect because once you cut, it leaves a mark on the light.

I just got the tint film from stickercity.com and i'm only tinting the red part. I was wondering do you wrap the tint around to the backside of the tail light so at a side view you can't see the red?

How much film does it take to cover the red parts? I saw the "bulk film" sold in 12"xN". Is 2 or 3 feet enough of the 12" width?

I was thinking about maybe laying down tape on the areas you want to cut off before applying the film. I'm hoping that could eliminate any potential mistakes. Anyone think that could be a good idea?

I just put my film on last week and used blue tape to mark off where the clear ended and it gave me a nice straight line.
