Xenons
Hi, I guess this question has been asked before - but I've never found a definite answer.
I have a 2000 330d without xenons and I'd like them (my old VW Polo had them!!). If i bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...3087&rd=1&rd=1 would it be a matter of just swapping over - or is there more wiring work to be done? |

yes just straight swap. then you need to get a reflash, or pull fuse 32 to get rid of the headlight warning.
for the link, i'm not sure if they included ignitors (should be there), so you might want to check with them before you buy it. else you're looking at another 100+ just for that part.

FINALLLY some one answered this question which was mine for 1 year, wow. so you can just plug it in the same way as a halogen unit would.

Yep exactly, you can purchase an OEM set but you will need to get a reflash to prevent the bulb out warning. The only issue with going OEM is that you will have to settle for a used pair without a warranty for about the same price as our new Projector46's with a full lifetime warranty.

should cost too much to get flashed. but even if you go with p46's, you will still have to reflash.
