smoked amber lenses?

I have a Topaz blue 325i and was wondering what it would look like if I smoked the ambers with a film like they sell @ bimmian or if i did the spray tint method. I also have been looking online trying to figure out if smoking the amber signals would be illegal in PA...my guess is it is...but does anyone have a clue or gotten pulled over in PA for clears or smoked signals? Pics of smoked amber lenses would be nice, thanks

They look like poop... literally. They look brown. Do a search. I believe there are pics of a sedan that had done this.
Bringing it back for the new people...

I dont think they look like poop. . .

Here is a pic of mine. I dont have a pic with the lights on but they just look orange. I tried to find the Pennsylvannia law on your lights but it was very confusing, I am in law school and it was crazy. Pretty much you just need to get an inspection to see if it has enough "candle" power, I am not real sure what that means. Other than that in Indiana they have to be visible form 100 feet in the sunlight. But make sure by turning them on the walking away for a couple hundred feet, you dont want to get into an accident. I have had mine on for a month now and no one in In has said anything to me, but they might question them.

Not a huge fan of the look but if you are set on doing that you can just apply tint film.

I'd buy the clear ones and smoke them, instead.
