he put some movement in the amp.

here you can see the motor. It's only to see if everthings work. If he remaines at that sport he's not sure.
I would be the idea, that if you take away a panel, you can see him.

movement...

He thinks this will be the maximal height to open.
Also you can see he's workin' with a mirror at the bottom

Here you can see right in it, what isn't the idea. You'll figure out why...

He made some rings in MDFwood. First he put a big ring in the bottomplate. Then mild a slant side. more about this, later this thread.Ik

He found some vents that you can take from each other.
These are from aluminium, but the frame they're in, goes in the bin.
There will be an -minor modded- version of it
more, LATER

Many hours, days later, and many BLISTERS... later this is what you get,
2 pieces to place in the vents, so the cooling on the amp will be better.
So he made some round MDF rings

Some chinese sticks

put them together

You can wonder now, why he didn't make that in one piece.
Well, cause there will be much power, haul in the trunk already.
Don't want the MDF to break.

stretch-doek

painted with polyester/fiberglass

rubbed and filled, filled and rubbed

this will be carbonized

so painted it black...

The nice forms of these things, aren't that great on picture. Too bad

With the ventilator in it:

A pic from the back. here you can see how he managed to sustain the perfection.

more coming...

Did a big struggle of the fittest to get some CF over those things

Did the first piece more then 4 times, so guys: ITS NOT EASY !
Even when you handy, it's not always rainbow and sunshine

here you see, he didn't manage to do it withour a seam
it just didn't worked...

The pieces are finally done.
all that work, pppfffffff, but it was worth it

did a basecoat at the back, more about this later

Now, what wil be next. To make something, to fit the 2 CF pieces into.
Will be many many many hours of labor, that he knows already.

all for today
