My Ride: '00 328i

First BMW, far from first car forum. My name's Andrew, I'm a 23 year old engineer from Chicago (Lincoln Park), I like long walks on the beach, et cetera.

I recently purchased an '00 328i with high miles as I needed an inexpensive yet reliable commuting car. Thus far I've only seen issues with the steering/suspension, and as this seems to be a common problem, I'm looking to jump on the common control arm/bushing upgrade soon. I'm going to assume I won't be throwing too much money into the car, but then again, joining this forum certainly won't help the tuner bug rest.

Previous cars:

'00 Pontiac Grand Am GT [ Forged internals at low compression, head work/valvetrain work, custom headers, bulletproofed transmission/axles, 70 dry shot, full suspension, das-uber-black wheels, fastest naturally aspirated registered Grand Am in the nation (at the time), in the process of building a custom twin screw supercharger setup when the car was impaled by a semi-truck blowing a red light ]

'03 Nissan Xterra [ Alpine screens, modified Xbox ]

'03 Nissan 350z [ APS Twin Turbo, head work, clutch, stolen ]

See you all around
