If you want to get ripped like Vin Diesel then I suggest a diet of nails and small children.

If you are totally new to working out and dieting then I always suggest Body 4 Life by Bill Phillips. It's not the best book out there on nutrition and it leaves a lot wanting for people who are into BB/Nutrition. However for the general public that's overweight and knows absolutely nothing about nutrition it's an excellent start compared to doing nothing.

If your looking for something more advanced I'm a fan of John Berardi. You can find his nutrition articles here.

Do you expect someone on here to just plan your life for you? Give us something to work with, at least. We don't know your current diet, current level of physical activity, current bodyfat, etc.
