the adjustment knobs are on top of the headlights.

the pattern should look something like this (if you were to get them straight):

Just make sure that the bulbs are correctly seated and locked in. I had a problem once where the beam that was projected was not correct. It turns out that the bulb was locked in place, BUT was crooked. Worth a shot. Good Luck.

thanks heres another question tho. When i installed these i had to break ou my old headlights cuz the 2 buttom bolts were impossible for me to reach so when i installed these i only used the 2 top ones.. and no bottoms, would that maybe be why? ive played with the knobs for HOURS. 2-3 in a row 2 diff times. I cant get them right... and the lines on the wall are too different to be able to line up.. I got the bulbs preinstalled by jlevisw so I dont know how to check if they are crooked

First, I would do what sillie said, it was quite possible that is throwing everything off. Second, the bulbs are put into the headlight and there is a metal retaining type clip that snaps in to hold them in place. Just make sure that they(bulbs) are SEATED right in the headlight and the clip is properly attached. Also, when you move the knobs, do the headlights move at all? If not, I would contact JLEVI and ask them if they could been over extended and popped off.

not sure if i have access to the kind tools i need.even if i did have long rachet. it didnt seem like even that would workbut ill look. but yeah when i turn the knobs the headlights do move up and down. but then when i think they may be lined up on the wall as close as they will possibly get, i stand in middle of car and slowly walk back and one gets brighter way before the other one meaning it projects higher i assume, so ill lower it and thent he lines ont he wall are way off... and then also one of them will be blue when one isnt at certain levels... grr

I don't know if this will help, but here is a pic. of the light pattern from 25 feet.
