city lights in high beams?

I have a 2000 328i and I dont have projectors or zenons(nor the budgen to convert it) but there is a 3/4" hole in the high beam reflector that looks like it is for city lights. Does anyone know what that hole is for, and is there a factory european city light set up that can go in there? if not I may just try to make something myself. and I know that i could get angel eyes, but I dont really want to at this point.

Thanks in advance for the input!

yea it's the city light. it uses a 194 bulb. you can probably get the part for it and just wire it up to the parking lights (rear) or something. if you wire it to the front, blink when you use the signals. check.
